Filippo and Stephanie // Proposal

I'm more than excited to share this next post with you. This last weekend we went out for a double date. My husband and I, along with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend. All of us, but one (my sis-in-law, Stephanie), knew what was gonna go down that day. A plan was being put into action, and I was so thrilled to be a part of it. Soon there was going to be a proposal, on the waters of the San Diego Bay. As we drove into San Diego there was fog over the water. Not the best day to go out on a boat, but as we got closer and closer to the bay, the sun decided to come out. And I'm so glad it did. Stephanie and Filippo, it was a joy to be there with you guys. To witness this wonderful and momentous occasion...Filippo, thank you for asking me to bring my camera. I loved being able to document such real and raw emotion. We love you both dearly, and look forward to what God has in store for you on your journey ahead. Congrats! Kaia Turns One!

My little cousin's baby turned one. Yes, yes, that means I am getting older. I remember as a child when all the family members would say every time they saw me, "Oh my, you are getting so BIG!" Now I am the one saying that about all the babies in our forever growing family. I am so thankful that I have been able to photograph this little one throughout her first year. Love you, Kaia :)

Emma

This little beauty is two weeks old. TWO weeks! I could not believe how alert she was with being so brand new and all. She was such a joy to photograph. I just love newborns, their tiny little fingernails, their brand spanking new peely skin :) They are just so....fresh. Wonderfully and carefully made by an amazing Creator. I LOVE it! So here she is, the beautiful Emma.

Harvey Family

This family holds a place in my heart. I've had the privilege of getting to know them over the past 7 years. They are a delight to be around and their silliness is contagious. Randy and Lycia Harvey moved to Kosovo to plant a church and have been there for about 10 years now. Rachael (Randy and Lycia's daughter) I met my first semester on Bible college, but I don't think either of us had any clue how our lives would be intertwined throughout the years ahead. Jeff, now married to Rachael, went to the same high school as my husband and I. So the short version is, Jeff, moved to Kosovo. Jeff and Rachael fell in love, got married, and now have to beautiful kiddos. And just short of one year ago, they moved back to Kosovo after living in so cal for a few years. Now they are all here in California on furlough, and all together with spouses and children for the first time ever! How exciting is that?! I was honored to take their pictures, and oh how much fun it was! Thank you guys. Seriously love you all.
